Hello Church! I need your help with a project I'd like to put together that can be used as a Sunday morning worship element as well as a sharable online resource.
Here's the nutshell version:
Record either audio or video of you reading that psalm out loud
I will add some cool visuals in video form
We will share these videos during Sunday morning worship during our psalm spot as well as make them sharable online
Nonessential Bonus: Briefly share why that particular psalm has special meaning to you.

Tell me your favorite psalm | You can email me at bensmusicdeskt65@gmail.com or comment here or on either our Facebook or Instagram post.
Record either audio or video of you reading that psalm out loud | Most smartphones within the last 5 years can record excellent quality video and audio. For audio you can use a free app from your app store. For video, just use your phone's stock camera. If you aren't comfortable doing either of those you can contact me and we can setup a time for me to record you either at the church or a location of your choosing (provided it's quiet for audio and well-lit for video)
Audio recording tips:
If you are a quiet reader, find an indoor location that is as quiet as possible.
If you are a loud reader, keep the phone at least a foot away from your mouth
Speak conversationally and clearly
Don't go too fast
Do a brief audio test and review it before you do your full reading.
Video recording tips:
Don't try to hold your phone. Either set it on something stationary or have someone hold it as still as possible.
Make sure your light source is in front of you and to one side
Windows are excellent soft light sources.
Record in landscape (phone sideways).

I will add some cool visuals in video form | Or, if you'd like to be part of the visual creation process I'd be happy to do it with you. You can provide artwork, photography, video b-roll or we can come up with some ideas together.
We will share these videos during Sunday morning worship during our psalm spot as well as make them sharable online | The primary goal of this project is to share the Psalms in creative and personal ways. I will use any videos from this project for both Sunday morning worship to bless our worshiping congregation. I will also post them on the church website, YouTube channel and Facebook page so they can be shared to bless and strengthen other believers and hopefully the unchurched!!
Nonessential Bonus: Briefly share why that particular psalm has special meaning to you. | I realize just being willing to record yourself pushes the boundaries of some comfort zones. Even so, there is power and value in the human experience shared with those of like faith. We are not lone wolf Christians and what strengthens and encourages you will very likely strengthen and encourage others. I've found some to be helped by the knowledge that even if it happened in your life, your story is God's not your own. I encourage you to be brave and share it!
