Many Thanks

October 29, 2025

Leadership Notes

How do we begin to express our thanks for the wonderfully generous people of Covenant Church? Lori and I were deeply touched by your gifts and kind words. I was especially moved by Marcos Garcia’s kind words addressed to my wife:

“We know you could not lead without Lori’s support. Proverbs 18:22 says, ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.’ ”

So many heartfelt words were shared Sunday. It is a privilege beyond measure to share this life of faith with you. God is good all the time!

I close with these words from Paul to the Philippians {1:3-7}:

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every

prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of

your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I

am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it

to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel

this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are

all partakers with me of grace.”

And now, your Moment of Spurgeon:

“Let gratitude be awakened; let humility be deepened; let love be

quickened.”

That is the life of faith well-lived, through this lovely church God is building!

     With Much Love and Affection,

                Richard & Lori
