Black Felt Background

As part of our ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and engaging environment for worship, we have been exploring ways to enhance the visual experience in the front of our sanctuary. One area we have focused on is the brown paneling that, while familiar and comfortable to some, tends to blend in with flesh tones.

In response to this, we have begun using a backdrop of thick black felt, which we have had up for a few weeks to confirm that it provides the necessary contrast, helping highlight the individuals on stage, both in person and on the live stream. We recognize the felt currently appears wrinkled, our plan is to stretch it over wooden frames that will hang on the wall. This will create a smoother, more polished look, eliminating the wrinkles and contributing to a visually pleasing atmosphere for everyone.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to improve the aesthetics of our worship space, not only for those who worship in person, but for those who worship with us online.
